How WS2 nano additives work

The shape of the nano particles allows them to roll between the metal surfaces of engines, components and hydraulic equipment, reducing friction by up to 30%. Addition of NanoLub nano oil additives to oil and grease improves the lubricating ability. The resultant lower wear leads to longer component life and lower operating temperatures allowing for greater productivity while lower contaminants extend oil life. These qualities reduce overall operating costs.

The WS2 additives have vastly superior lubrication properties compared with molybdenum disulphide (MoS2) additives which are commonly used in oils. WS2 is one of the most lubricous materials known to science and has a coefficient of friction of just 0.03. Its dry lubricity is unmatched by any other substance.

WS2 offers excellent lubrication under extreme conditions of load and temperature, and has been proven to be effective from minus 273 degrees Centigrade up to 650 degrees. It offers excellent thermal stability and oxidation resistance at higher temperatures.
